Watch This Space

We are in the process of organizing a number of other evening events, which will delight or frustrate you as the case may be, but at least they will encourage you off the streets of St Andrews.

We plan an evening of Scottish country dancing, with a group who will demonstrate the art of it to us and who will then lead us through the most complicated and energetic reels which the genre can offer.

We also plan to offer you a malt whisky tasting, or for the more fastidious a nosing. This will be conducted by David Wishart, well-known in Fife for his excellent nose.

Also, you will be pleased to know of the clarsach recital. The clarsach is a small Scottish harp; its sound is small but sweet and the repertoire is mainly based on traditional Scottish music.

On one evening there will be the formal opening of the Heraldry Exhibition; this will be an interesting and convivial way to launch the show.

On the last evening of the Congress there will be a Banquet. We have booked the largest venue in St Andrews, possibly even in Fife, but the numbers are limited to 250, so should you wish to attend, book as soon as you can.
