
RESIDENCE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ST ANDREWS NEW HALL
Student accommodation is offered in New Hall, a facility
that was completed in 1993. New Hall is approx 800 metres
from the conference facilities in St Salvators. Frequent
shuttle buses will travel between them. Rooms are compact
and all have a double bed, en-suite facilities (shower),
desk, TV, phone and tea/coffee making facilities. Single
or double occupancy is available. Each room offers a double
bed. Please state any special requirements when registering.
Meal Times (unless special arrangements
are made to accommodate the programme)
Breakfast: 0730 – 0900
Lunch: 1230 – 1330
Dinner: 1800 – 1900
Full board residents are entitled to breakfast
and evening meal at New Hall, a buffet lunch at Congress
venues and packed lunches for day tours if required, and
morning and afternoon coffee or tea at the lecture sites.
Per day cost for room and full board for one is £71;
cost for two persons sharing a room with full board is £105.50
Bed and Breakfast (B&B) residents
are entitled to breakfast at New Hall and tea and coffee
at the lecture sites but will have
to make their own arrangements for lunch and evening
meal. There are plenty of outlets near the Congress venues.
Please note: Delegates will be unable to purchase additional
meals of any kind during the Congress at New Hall if
the B&B option is selected.
Per day cost for Bed and Breakfast for
one is £58.50;
cost for two persons sharing a room on a B&B basis
is £77.
The University do not allow the consumption
of take-away meals in rooms or in other areas of New Hall.
